Sometimes it isn't just 'someone' but 'something' - like a new word, for example. You've never heard the word before, then all of a sudden it is everywhere. Ever had that happen?
My friend Kristen calls it "total recall". Do you have a name for it?
The above quote is from The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society - I just finished reading it and really, really enjoyed it. I recommend it! I have become a reading junkie in the last few months - I got out of 'enjoyment reading' while in college and am so happy to be back into the groove. Goodreads.com is my latest best friend -- I like getting recommendations for books (I'm not much of a 'cold copy' reader). Anyone have one to recommend?

i don't have a name for it, but it definitely happens. my thought has been that those things (names, words, etc) are always around, we just finally notice them when we learn about them.
and as far as book recommendations, i have tons! when i get around to emailing you back i'll include some of those! :)
Recommendation: Jan Karon's Mitford series, beginning with At Home in Mitford. I love them!
