Heartbreaking

I am not sure if there is a sadder picture than this:

Poor kiddo just wasn't feeling good this morning... and before I knew it, he was emptying his stomach all over the place. Yick! This is our first bout with a stomach bug and I would be just fine if it didn't happen again for a long, long time. So far he has kept down 1/2 c. sprite (two 1/4 c. doses) and 2.5 saltines... here is to hopefully mending! BIG thanks to Amber for saving me with clear liquids and popsicles!! (Note to self to stock up on such supplies for moments like this.) On the bright side, he has been cuddling with me all day - a rarity for this child. Sure hope he is feeling better soon!

28 weeks & counting

Ah, how awkward you can feel taking a mug shot... alas, here we are at 28 weeks, little Lincoln (we are pretty sure this will be Lincoln, have I mentioned that?...) snug inside. He is still quite active and seems to enjoy being tucked against my right rib cage (really? do ya gotta?). Mason enjoys patting, pointing, rubbing, and kissing my belly and calls it "baby" - hopefully he'll feel as fond when he comes out :)
As a side note, as the weather is finally turning warmer, I now have plans to sit in a kiddie pool on the back porch all summer long. Anyone with me?

P.S. We have found our next place to live! Although our current location has been SO perfect for us, in anticipation of baby #2 we wanted to get into a place with more space. We'll be moving Memorial day weekend and not too far from here, just a few minutes away from Matt's work. This next location also seems to be just perfect for our needs... Heavenly Father truly watches out for all of us! Anyway, more to come later!

Art time

Although I try to have Mason color and whatnot at home regularly (I bought him fingerpaints a while back... still haven't attempted that yet...), when a friend told me about this art time for little guys/gals I thought it was a great idea! If/when we move away from Utah County I am going to miss all of these cool programs they have locally... hopefully our next home will be as kid oriented :) These are some pictures from this week - I couldn't resist a picture of him in his apron!
