10 Months

First steps were taken in the 9th month and now we're full-on walking! In fact, that is all he wants to do lately - walk laps around the house. Also, as of Friday he is getting up to standing without any assistance (he doesnt even use his hands? he just... pops up!) and is completely scaling the stairs (eeek!). He has 4 teeth at present and is being a trooper about them. This kid is so much fun and such a great baby... can I call him a baby still? Bottom line: he gets more fun by the day and continues to bring us so much joy!

The many faces of Mase... a fun new skill he has developed!

*Gasp* How could I forget???

So, I spaced it about more pictures I had on my camera...

I got to see Manda while I was in Florida!!! It was so wonderful to see her and hope it won't be long until we're together again! The next time we see her she will be Mrs. Wills and we are so happy for her!

First Steps

Mason took his first "steps" (from Mom to Dad) last week and today I decided to try to get some on camera. The couch isnt quite as cool as Dad, but he performed anyway :)
He is growing waaaaaaay too quickly!

Friends

I make a lot of friends while we're out shopping nowadays... I think you can see why...
(this cute face + his flirty self=unstoppable)

Who needs a fire?

We made a fire in a grill behind our condo on Friday night and roasted weenies and smores with some friends (SO FUN!)... Saturday night the smore fixins were calling my name so we opted for the indoor version (thanks for planting the idea, Laura).... who needs a fire? Puh, these things were de-lish! Mmmmmmm.

9 - count 'em, 9!

Our babe is now 9 months old and growing/changing by the day! He is SO much fun and we love seeing his personality emerge more and more. We're pretty sure he is turning into a mini Matt - and its pretty darn cute! He is getting closer and closer to taking steps on his own - he now tries to walk from one object to another w/space in between - he usually lets go with both hands, stands for a whole second, realizes what hes doing, and then plops himself down. He'll wave bye-bye when he feels like it, but otherwise is much more interested in mobility than he is in "cool tricks" like clapping, sign language, etc. We'll get there :) He had his nine month appointment on Friday and is now at a fabulous 17 lb 12 oz and 28 inches and gets to take a daily multi-vitamin w/fluoride now. Wahoo!

I tried taking some pictures yesterday, but didnt have much cooperation, so I may try again. I had to show off his new short 'do -- thanks to Katie!
