Isn't it beautiful? (these are snapshots from our parents' places)We've been away for a long time... I've basically been gone since Fall 2002 and we've been full-time gone since Fall 2005.
Although we have earned great educations, made the BEST of friends!, owned our first home, had our first two children,
the time has come...
we're heading back!
It wasn't an easy decision and will no doubt not be the easiest move, but it feels right... so, we're taking that leap of faith and following the answered prayer.
So, our trip home for Christmas will be a one way trip...
Tennessee, here we come!

I am SO excited and happy for ya'll... why is it then that I'm in tears? You are a wonderful friend and we'll miss you, but I don't blame you for wanting to go back home. You're right, the pictures are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! We'll continue to follow your blog and will pray for your safety while you're traveling back home. Thankfully we can be friends forever!! oh i bet your families are so happy, and i'm sure you are too. i'm happy for you and i know everything will work out great. we definitely need to get together then before you go. we only have 2 weeks before thanksgiving so lets pick a day. let me know what works for you, i'm flexible.
Yay!!! Is it a little weird that I'm excited when I don't even live there? We want to move back some day though! Congratulations and good luck with the move. I hope everything goes smoothly for you!
So, what is the reason for the big move? Job, just realized that is where you need to be, etc??? Anyway, whatever it is, we love you guys and are so happy for you. I now this will be a blessing and that this is exactly what you need. Just sad that now there is even a greater possibility that we won't get to meet up for a Chann (Chavez/Spann) vacation. I so randomly decided to click on your blog today and found out this news! I just wanted to post a comment to let you know that your family is BEAUTIFUL and then I find out this news! This means I can see this beautiful family, right? As if it wasn't enough for you two to be an adorable couple, you guys make gorgeous children too! It is wonderful, but I do have this teensy bit of jealousy! And as for the move, it may be a leap of faith, but over the past year and a half, I have found that those are the best leaps we can ever take!
