While waiting for my oil change, I found a toy car for Mase at the dollar store. Did they really expect me to buy it with this sticker on the back? Random!
LOL. As a recent CA resident, I can tell you that those stickers don't mean as much as it seems like they should; it means that the toy was marketed in California, which marks anything and everything that could potentially have any of those problems. That's why it says those things are "known to the state of California" to have those bad possibilities—no other states believe those chemicals to be a real threat. Even our apartment complex had one of those signs at the gate ("This complex contains chemicals known to the state of California...").
So yeah. Everything has those stickers on them in CA. Good to be careful, but don't let California make you too nervous. :-)
I've seen a lot of real cars in CA that had those stickers on the driver's windows! That would bug me too bad to ever move to CA. The sticker was long, something about how emissions from vehicles can cause cancer, miscarriages, etc. etc. and of course it said "In the state of CA" Weird.
So you should be ok as long as your not in Cali? Kinda sounds like being in California causes some kind of chemical reaction that does not occur in other states. That sounds about right!

weird! Glad you didn't get the toy! Or I would question you??? Just kidding!
California is going to break off into the ocean any day now...I'm going there next week...let's hope I'm back before it happens! :)
