February 2014 Recap

Unfortunately it looks like I was a little sparse on pictures in February...

Since it was super duper cold outside, we got creative and played inside a lot - including creating forts out of chairs and blankets :)
I took a concealed carry class in the BOONIES from a cool dude.
Cooper continued to be cute... well, of coursE!
We finished up and officially closed on House #2!

January 2014 Photo Recap:

My Dad and I took the boys to a morning Circus show!
COOPER turned 1 year old!
I took Matt to Monster Jam.  hehe
COLD TEMPS!  My parents pond froze thick enough to skate on and we got a tiny bit of snow to play in!
House #2 was wrapping up!

way behind, but... I am determined, which means this is going to be some shoddy reporting, but hey, whatever it takes!

In no particular order:
house #2 building continued!
FAMILY!  One of the best parts of the season is all the family!  Jess & Chris came to town and we celebrated Saylor's 1st birthday too.
Dickson Women's Club Christmas dinner... yum and fun!
I got to hold the two cutest (almost) 1 yr olds!
ICE!  Oh... so much ice.  The boys were enthralled when the local fire department came w/heavy equipment to relieve the trees of some of their load.
Christmas presents!  The boys "big" Santa gift was their Dune Racer and they love it!
Matt turned the big 3-0 and requested a snickers cheesecake!
Ellie came from Utah to visit her parents in KY and we took a jaunt up to Bowling Green to see her!
SANTA! :)  We got this one cute shot before Cooper sliiiiiid off his lap.... haha

November 2013... I might be caught up sometime! :)

Lot 37 progressed... AND sold!  Under contract, that is.  What an amazing blessing!

.

This SUPER cool air show happened at our local airport... it.was.awesome!

Family pictures happened! And thanks to Debbie, they were successful!

Joel, Laurie, Gram, Kendall, & Kenszie came to visit for Thanksgiving - it was awesome!  And apparently I was terrible at picture taking....  !   So here is a fun picture of Coop playing w/Uncle Joel :)

October Recap

Banana pudding festival.... heck yes.  It was a Mom & Mimi outing, with Dad and Pop Pop busy that day.  The boys enjoyed the pony ride, the train, feeding some animals, the carnival games for kids, and meeting Smokey the Bear.  Ironically, we didn't eat any Banana pudding!  The line for the "pudding walk" was crazy-long and it was unusually hot out, so we bailed.  We also went to the White Bluff festival. October is a fun month!

This little dude continued to grow... too fast!

House #2 (lot 37) started!

Pumpkin Carving got serious!  The boys were more interested in playing, so the men ended up cleaning & carving!

We celebrated Mason's 5th Birthday!  We had a 'friend party' planned for the pumpkin patch... but all three kids came down with Hand,Foot, Mouth disease that week and were still contagious... bummer.  Grandparents came though and the boys had a great time together.

The boys dressed up as pirates (surprise!) for Halloween and Cooper was a dragon... circa 2009 Mason's costume. He was not thrilled! Because of a storm that came through, the boys did some trick or treating on Halloween, then went out the next night, then we had a church trunk or treat the following night... yes, it was a 3-day affair!

September

Cooper at 8 months.  Cute as a button.

We visited Cheekwood for the first time.  This place is so cool!  Acres and acres of gardens, this huge mansion, art exhibits, tree houses.  The mansion is connected to Maxwell House coffee... which, it turns out, originated in Nashville.

This cute picture happened at Catfish House :)

More trips to the zoo... we got to see the new Kangaroo encounter!  I make sure we get our moneys worth out of our zoo membership, hehe!

Our annual Gatlinburg trip - this time w/the Footes too!  We had an action-packed super-fun trip.  We went to the aquarium, up the mountain tram, had an afternoon of gokarts/bumper boats/etc, hiked in the smokies, saw a MAMA BEAR AND HER CUBS in the woods (we were in our car :), did the alpine slide, and walked downtown.  It was an epic trip.

We closed on the  house ...!
