Furniture Shopping

Matt & I decided we might want to "invest" in a bedroom set... after looking through a lot of catalogs and browsing the store, we decided on this one - what do you think?

Freaky Friday

Friday the 13th... fact or fiction? Matt may not have had anything happen to him, but I had my fair share! Without going into all the little mishaps, the best one was when I FELL in the MUD! Luckily I managed to end up in crouching position (saving my knees), but here is a sample of the event :)

Wyoming

With the intent to paint, I only took a pair of basketball shorts and a grubby tshirt to Wyoming the other weekend... needless to say, I didn't end up helping with the hay. Not to worry, Matt did enough work for both of us :) Here are some fun pictures from the trip - including some from a hike up the Canyon w/Linda & Garrett!

Touring Utah & Beyond

Aunt Becky & Aunt Susan came into town for a few days this week and it was great! I think Sammy entertained them the majority of the time at the house (hiding under Aunt Becky's dress, being silly, and showing his wild side :o/ ). We got the chance to go to Temple Square and even eat a roll from the Lion House (yummmmm). Now they're off to Zions, St. George, The Grand Canyon, Aunt Sarah's, and who knows where else! The sky is the limit! :)

The night we set the sky on fire

Happy -belated- Fourth! We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and didn't set anything on fire! We had a fabulous celebration including a delicious breakfast at Cracker Barrel, swimming, the driving range, a fabulous BBQ (way-to-go Matt with the babyback ribs), and note worthy fireworks (compliments of the best spot in Provo). P.S. it is really hard to get a good picture of a firework.

Tennesseeans are the best clowns.

Our Tennessee roots have been proving themselves lately - and although Thursday night's Kenny Chesney concert was a bust due to Jordyn's 102 degree temperature, we came back strong Friday night with a trip to the Lehi RoundUp Rodeo! We felt like we instantly bonded with the rodeo cowboy, Lecile Harris, who's hometown is Collierville, TN. Please also note Matt's new fancy cowboy boots... Giddy-up!

Why driving to work can be fun...

Does this look precarious to anyone else? Wow.
(this is Matt's competitor, by the way...)
